The Way of the Wounded Hero in Times of Disillusionment

How does the hero respond to unrequited love? Not by glorifying or vilifying the partner who chose to abandon, shame or betray as a way to resolve the end of their love. Instead, rather than the pain experienced in the cry of a victim, the hero chooses to celebrate the value of what was lost. Extracting emotional elegance from the realm of vulgar eyes.

But why does the hero choose this path? Because to deny the goodness of what was coauthored in the name of love, independent of challenging moments, disowns participation in what could have been a soulmate. Then, the path to the end of suffering for what did not become, requires faith in a journey offering synchronistic auspiciousness in the long run. Such is the way of the Drift...
