We tend to rerun voids of unfinished business created by people who shaped our past with painful experiences. Rather than moving on as wounded heroes, we are enticed to mend our archetypal wounds with those who perpetuate our pain rather than offer opportunities to fill the void with meaningful completion. A path that attracts those who need fixing and ignores potential resolution from those who do not need to be fixed.
But why do we choose this self-defeating option void of closure? Because as victims of disillusionment, we inadvertently gain competence in rehearsing our unresolved past ignoring tools to discover healing opportunities in our eminent present. Lessons from hell from those who wounded us with masks of good intentions.
