By cultivating self-discipline we shift our focus from requiring motivation to achieve goals, to determining the worthiness of goals. Moving from rat psychology to empowerment consciousness.

About the Event

Walk Away from Your Demons Experiencing Biocognitive Group Dynamics

Healing the Wounded Hero is an open group session limited to 30 participants each month. Rather than a membership or subscription, these group sessions are an opportunity to register each month with a unique theme necessary to individuate. Here Dr. Martinez will apply biocognitive science to teach how mind and body heal within cultural contexts.

Although Dr. Martinez is a licensed clinical psychologist, he offers a model of personal development that replaces doctor/patient pathology-labeling with teacher/student exploration of personal excellence. Within the realm of the wounded hero, participants will be able to identify how cultures diminish selfhood and how to access the path of individuation. But rather than identifying with the helpless victim, participants will embrace the Wounded Hero Archetype and its unbounded resilience to confront and resolve internal conflicts that deprive them of their joy, health, and prosperity.
