Diplomate in Biocognitive Science
Instructor: Dr. Mario Martinez
(Founder of Biocognitive Science)
This diplomate is designed to train professionals in the health sciences in the theory and practice of biocognitive science.
It is aimed at psychologists, psychiatrists, physicians, anthropologists, sociologists, nurses, theologians, philosophers, executive coaches, and other professionals and educators involved in the life sciences.
Biocognitive theory integrates cultural psychoneuroimmunology, cultural anthropology, and cultural neuroscience within a new paradigm where cognition and biology coemerge in biocultural contexts. It proposes that longevity is learned, and the causes of health are inherited.
Biocognitive science is grounded in my extensive research and clinical experience in neuropsychology and cultural psychoneuroimmunology.
Each section is a journey into the complexity of how our mind and body communicate within the learned cultural parameters that shape how we perceive, emote, and give meaning to our world. However, I propose that mindbody complexity does not have to be complicated.
The Course:
Three modules of 5 sessions each (15 online Zoom sessions, 90 minutes per session). The 15 sessions are offered consecutively every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM (Central US Time) over an approximate period of four months.
Tuition:
Paid per module: US$3,500 x 3 modules = US$10,500
Prepaid course: US$9,000
To secure these limited spots, all payments must be made via bank transfer in US dollars before the start of the module or course.
In addition to the 15 sessions, the tuition includes a pre/post Centenarian Consciousness Index (CCI), and free access to all biocognitive webinars offered during the time of the course. The CCI is the first empirically designed test that shows how close you are to the 8 factors of healthy longevity, and how to improve them at any age. You will take it at the beginning and at the end of the diplomate.
