From disciples of pain to masters of abundance. While happiness and sadness are innate emotions, joy is a culturally learned experience. Joy is implicitly accessed based on the level of worthiness, deservingness, and contexts determined by culturally assimilated rules. Learn to transcend limits.

About the Event

Walk Away from Your Demons by Experiencing Biocognitive Group Dynamics

Healing the Wounded Hero is an open webinar series offered each month. Rather than a membership or subscription, these group sessions are an opportunity to participate on a monthly basis, each month with a unique theme necessary to individuate. Here Dr. Martinez will apply biocognitive science to teach how mind and body heal within cultural contexts.

Although Dr. Martinez is a licensed clinical psychologist, he offers a model of personal development that replaces doctor/patient pathology-labeling with teacher/student exploration of personal excellence. Within the realm of the wounded hero, participants will be able to identify how cultures diminish selfhood and how to access the path of individuation. But rather than identifying with the helpless victim, participants will embrace the Wounded Hero Archetype and its unbounded resilience to confront and resolve internal conflicts that deprive them of their joy, health, and prosperity.
