In my theory of biocognition I introduce the word Selfing and its mindbody meaning. In biology, selfing refers to organisms that self-fertilize. My biocognitive definition is quite different. I conceptualize Selfing as mindbody becomingness. A process rather than identity. Existential journeying rather than reaching goals.
The Selfing experience I propose, is awareness of how we evolve from a world of vulgar eyes to a terrain of emotional elegance. How we can choose our existence as cultural puppets or beyond the pale outliers. The Selfing transfiguration requires courage to become rather than complacency to capitulate.
